About This Site

Welcome to David Hirzel, Wordwright, the culmination of a lifetime of writing that began (as I recall) about 1956. Things have changed since then, of course. I think the quality has gotten better since I composed “I Made a Little Snowman” at the age of five. The range of genres and subjects has expanded, but I still write a lot about ice.

You will find here (as time goes by) excerpts from current projects in short fiction, drama, and poetry, as well as links to green building and technical articles.
